This past weekend the Hue Noir team went to LA for the annual wellness & beauty event called “Project Beauty Expo”.
Project Beauty Expo is the industry’s very first curated beauty & wellness expo created by and for women of color. The Project Beauty Expo team describes the event as “Part conference part experiential inspiration wonderland, We're a platform that celebrates multicultural beauty and the indie brands that supports women of color.” The expo is usually hosted in NYC, but this year they took over LA for the weekend. Hue Noir loves celebrating women of color so we started the evening with a toast from our founder, Paula Hayes and some of our favorite beauty influencers! On Saturday and Sunday, we joined over 50 other black women-owned businesses and artists in a gorgeous loft space downtown. Project Beauty Expo curates a list of Beauty and Wellness brands through our one-of-a-kind intimate exhibition experience.
In addition to shopping, getting a color match to #FindYourHue and networking there were some inspiring and empowering workshops as well. Celebrity Makeup artist Drini, shared tips and tricks for a quick every glam beat using Hue Noir’s products.
