Our founder, CEO, and lead product development chemist, Paula Hayes, experienced firsthand the frustration of using costly cosmetics that either enhanced her complexion but damaged her skin or were gentle on her skin but lacked aesthetic appeal. Fueled by a profound curiosity about human anatomy and diverse skin types, Paula earned a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

Paula's vision was clear: to transform an industry that has long overlooked true beauty by developing equitable beauty solutions that not only enhanced natural beauty but also nurtured the skin. With her background in chemistry, she meticulously crafted formulas designed for a wide range of complexions, addressing long-standing concerns like oil control, hydration, and long-lasting wear.
